After his return to Cambridge he joined the industrial Training Research Unit. Early on he started carrying out research where he would focus on observing the older colleagues in the industry. After earning the PhD title, he worked as a research fellow at Cranfield College. Raymond Meredith was born in 1926 and received his university degree at Cambridge.
